Unique Venues of Edinburgh is a conglomeration of 26 of Edinburgh’s most unique and best venues.  Ranging from the Museum of Flight, to Our Dynamic Earth to ourselves, Dundas Castle, there are plenty of choices for anyone searching to hold their event somewhere that little bit different.

Dundas Castle was one of the first venues to become a member of the group and was delighted to be part of the team that won in the Scottish Thistle Awards in the Business Tourism category.

The Scottish Thistle Awards are in their 17th year and are an established benchmark of excellence and innovation across Scottish tourism. The Business Tourism market represents more than 20% of total expenditure on tourism in Scotland and there is an ambition to increase tourism by 50% in Scotland by 2015. With competition for this award being particularly fierce this year, it was a great win for the UVE.

The 26 venues under the UVE umbrella were delighted to win this accolade as it reflects the hard work and dedication that each venue has put into making venue sourcing within Edinburgh as easy and convenient as possible. With each offering a unique and exceptionally high quality of venue and service, UVE was praised for being a one-stop-shop for selecting a perfect venue for any event size and requirement.
