Dundas solves the weather dilemma

For the first time at a venue in the UK, using pioneering technology, Dundas Castle has solved the problem of our unpredictable weather. By installing an air-compressed ceiling, the result is a marquee which can withstand all weather conditions and amplifies the feeling of being in a permanent structure. The creation of a structure, which is not affected by the external environment, enhanced by two walls of floor to ceiling windows provides the combination of an unyielding wedding or conference location with natural light and unparalleled views over the estate.

By using this unique system, Dundas has been able to confidently offer the Pavilion for a variety of events even when the weather was scheduled to be unfavourable.  From the car launch of Alfa Romeo’s Brera and 147, to a traditional African wedding, Scotland’s changeable weather cannot dampen the event.  With the new LED lighting system that was installed at the same time, the Pavilion is able to be tailored to the desires of the client, even if the theme is to be changed between the dinner and the dancing.
