“When looking for a venue for our Toyota May Balls Incentive event, we needed a location in Scotland that was close to a good hotel with easy access from the airport and sufficient outdoor space for our custom-built marquee. As we wanted the ball to be of a very high standard and live long in people’s memories, a castle was the perfect choice, giving the wow factor on arrival. Dundas Castle managed to tick all these boxes and we created a full size fun-fair in the grounds, including a Ferris wheel and dodgems. All the staff were incredibly helpful and the owners of the castle, Sir Jack Stewart-Clark and his wife, Lady Lydia, were superb hosts and truly went above and beyond, lending our Toyota client and his wife a smoking jacket and ball dress when their luggage was delayed."

“It was important for our event that the venue matched the brief given to our teams. The format was a Dragon’s Dungeon style presentation delivered to members of our Senior Management Team, complete with film and sound crew.
Dundas Castle was the natural choice. It provided all of the historic atmosphere that we needed together with 21st century service and hospitality. The Stag chamber, housed within the original castle Keep was perfect, giving just the right feel to the presentations and bringing a real sense of theatre and drama to the proceedings. Corporate Fun Day
"We used Dundas Castle for a corporate event that took place in June 2008. To say the venue was stunning is an understatement; not one of our members of staff who attended the event said differently! The venue is situated on the outskirts of Edinburgh and is easy accessible within magnificent grounds. It is a very grand venue, however the grandeur is understated so that it lends itself to more of a feeling of warmth than of alienation.
The difference with Dundas Castle is not only the venue but the staff; they are professional, attentive and discreet. They are always there to help you but also just enough in the background to not impose on you or your event.
In summary, the test of a great event is not only the venue but the staff and the big question "would you use us again"? With Dundas Castle, there would most definitely be a resounding YES!"
